ROSEBERRY TOPPING - NORTH YORKSHIRE - ENGLANDINSPIRATIONColour. It’s the most exciting part of the process for me; deciding on the mood, the tone, the spirit of the print. My favourite part of the day is dusk, it always has been. There’s a brief moment, when the sun is saying its final farewell as we turn our backs on it. A luminous chink of light that bathes everything in its path; it never fails to stop me in my tracks wherever I am. The shadows are deep and dark but the golden light holds promises of a new day. In this print I have tried to capture that moment.PROCESSGeorgina's prints start off as sketches with pencil and paper, then using various photographs as references the scene is created digitally. The designs are drawings not tracing, so it can take quite a while. The aim is to create a fresh and modern take on the vintage travel posters of the early/mid 20th century. Georgina prints on an Epson printer using Epson Archival paper, using Epson DURABrite Ultra Pigment Ink giving the prints a crisp and vibrant finish. Using high quality inks mean they are more resistant to fading, however be careful hanging your print in direct sunlight.
You will receive an unframed A4 print, ready for any standard A4 sized frame.
